Born in Toronto, Canada and raised in Southern New Jersey, Ken Jefferson started his real estate career at the age of 23. Since then he has been involved in thousands of real estate transactions.
In 1987, he moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and started and owned a mortgage company for seventeen years that was eventually licensed in five states. He was Vice-President of the Outer Banks Lenders Association for several years, and was very instrumental in working to have the Second Home Rider changed to help more second homeowners qualify for mortgages.
During the 23 years he spent in NC, he personally bought and sold over 40 properties and, at one time, held and managed 20 personal rental properties.
Ken has had a Real Estate Broker License / Real Estate Salesman License in NJ, NC, and FL combined for over 30 years.
He currently holds a Florida Real Estate Salesman License, a Florida Mortgage Loan Originators License, and a Florida Life, Health, Insurance, and Annuity License.
Since moving to Islamorada in the Florida Keys in 2010, he spends his time between SW Florida and Islamorada in the Florida Keys.
